Hummus by Kakali Biswas

Humuus is a Mediterranian & Middle Eastern recipe or to be precise, a Levantine and Egyptian food which has gained popularity worldwide. It is a creamy dip made with chickpeas and other healthy stuff; making it a pretty popular and healthy dish to have.

Ingredients

  • Chick Peas/ Kabuli Chana
  • Roasted Sesame Seeds
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Lemon
  • Chopped Parsley
  • Paprika

Preparation

  • Boil Chick Peas & remove skin
  • Lightly dry roasted sesame seeds & keep aside
  • Add all the ingredients in a food processor and make a fine paste
  • Add the chick pea liquid to make it of a smooth consistency
  • take the paste out
  • Drizzle Olive oil
  • Garnish with Parsley & Paprika
  • Serve with brown bread or soup sticks.
