Ingredients:

  • 2 x 400 ml cans coconut milk/cream
  • 250 ml water
  • 3/4 cup sago pearls
  • sugar to taste

Method:

  • Soak sago pearls in coconut milk/water mixture in a medium saucepan.
  • Stand covered for 30 mins stirring occasionally.
  • Then set mixture on stove for 5 mins + bring to boil stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat to low + simmer for 10 mins stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in sugar to taste.
  • Let stand for about 10 mins then pour into serving-ware.
  • You can easily halve the ingredients to make less.
  • Eat hot or cold, add any fruit you like.
