Bandhakofi diye Macher Muro/ Cabbage with Fish Heads
Ingredients:

Fish head

Cabbage (finely chopped)

Potatoes (cut in cubes)

Tomatoes
-
Cumin (whole)
-
Bay leaf
-
Ginger paste
-
Chili paste
-
Turmeric paste
-
Cumin paste
-
Ghee
-
Garam masala powder
-
Salt
-
Sugar
-
Water
Method:
-
Fry the fish head well and keep aside
-
In a pan, heat oil and temper with cumin seeds and bay leaf

Add the potatoes and fry till nicely browned
-
Now add all the masala pastes and salt and fry till oil separates

Add the cabbage and sauté for a little while
-
Cover till cabbage is almost cooked

Add the fried fish head and tomatoes
-
Stir fry for a while and cover again (sprinkle a little water if required)

When the cabbage is fully cooked, add a little sugar and fry again till everything softens and gets very well mixed together

Add ghee and garam masala powder and mix well
-
Serve
