Bhetki kamala(orange)/ Bhetki in orange sauce

This is one dish that your kids are sure to love, no matter how picky they are. Adding the orange juice gives this recipe a wonderful sweet and sour tang that can be really addictive.

Ingredients:

  • Bhekti fish: 500g.

  • Oranges (juice): 3

  • Chopped ginger: 2 tsp

  • Butter: 50g.

  • Cornflour: 2tbsp

  • salt: as per taste

  • Capsicum

  • Green chillies

Method:

Cut the fish in pieces, clean and rub them with chilli powder and salt

Put butter in a non-stick pan and heat

Lightly fry the fishes and keep aside

Now add some more butter and add the ginger juliennes

Lightly fry and then add the capsicum and orange juice

When the liquid starts to boil, mix the cornflour with water and add it in the gravy

Add the fried fish pieces and add salt

Cook for a minute and serve
