Grilled Salmon with Caesar Salad & Steamed broccoli By Sonali Banerjee

   

 

Sonali Banerjee, apart from being my loving aunt, is also a teacher by profession.

   

Here the salmon is plated along with hummus and khubus (a type of middle eastern flat bread)

Ingredients

  • Boneless Salmon Steak
  • Lemon Juice
  • Ginger and garlic paste
  • Pepper powder
  • Salt
  • Olive Oil

 

For the Caesar Salad

  • Lettuce/ any salad leaf
  • Vegetables (that can be eaten raw)
  • Tomatoes
  • Virgin Olive Oil
  • Caesar dressing

 

Preparation:

  1. Wash and clean the boneless salmon.
  2. Marinate the salmon pieces with lemon juice, salt, little ginger garlic paste, pepper for about an hour.
  3. Grill it in oven or pan using olive oil.
  4. Served it with a salad of your choice

 

Note: I usually serve it with Caesar salad. Here is the recipe:

  1. Wash, clean and dry lettuce or any salad leaf
  2. Tear it with hand and add vegetables that can be eaten raw. I usually add only tomatoes.
  3. Mix little extra virgin olive oil along with Caesar dressing and give it a toss.

Steamed broccoli

 Ingredients

  • Broccoli
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation:

  1. Cut the broccoli into small florets
  2. Wash and steam till well done
  3. Sprinkle with a little salt n pepper to season it and serve.
