Bacon & Peas

This recipe is basically a side dish. This can be had with herbed rice or could be served with garlic bread and potato mash on the side. And if you are a “porkaholic” , this could be your protein rich breakfast on an indulgent morning too, with a toast or two on the side! Or if you are like me, you shall have it on its own and love it too!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Packet uncooked sliced bacon (any variety)
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • Frozen peas (1 cup)
  • Ground pepper

Method:

  • Cut the bacons in small pieces
  • Heat a pan.
  • Now add the bacons in the pan
  • Fry them till they turn brown.
  • Add the diced onions and fry rill they turn translucent
  • Add pepper as per taste
  • Add the peas and cook till they are done. Serve hot.
