Chicken Pakoda by Sohini (Rima) Chatterjee
In Sohini’s words — This version of Chicken Pakoda is entirely my own recipe. It is a kind of chicken fry, Indian style.
Sohini Chatterjee – Teacher
Ingredients:
- Chicken, cut into small pieces
- Turmeric
- Yoghurt / Dahi
- Ginger paste
- Chopped onion
- Chopped chillies
- Garam masala
- Chaat masala
- Corn flour
- Eggs
- Salt to taste
- Oil to fry
Method:
- Boil the chicken pieces with salt and turmeric till cooked.
- Mash the chicken pieces roughly, and add a little dahi, salt, ginger paste, chopped onion, chopped chillies, garam masala powder, chaat masala, and corn flour.
- Add eggs and mix everything well.
- Make small balls or disks as you like and fry till golden brown.
