Fried chicken

With the advent of KFC children have become very fond of fried chickens. But if you want to make a homely and healthier version, then here is an absolutely easy peasy recipe for Fried Chicken. It is a personal favourite to be had with a steaming cup of hot tea or coffee. Or how about with a glass of fizzy cola?

Ingredients –

  • Chicken wings/ drumsticks
  • Onion-Ginger –Garlic paste
  • Soya sauce
  • Eggs
  • Flour
  • Oil to fry
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Procedure –

• Marinate the chicken pieces in the ginger-garlic-onion paste
• Add salt and pepper powder to this.
• Keep aside for a minimum of 2 to 3 hours. You can keep it overnight too
• Frisk the egg in a bowl.
• Keep aside flour in another bowl
• Dip the marinated chicken first in the egg and then cover it with flour
• Deep fry these
• Serve hot with ketchup or sauce.
