Green chicken/Mutton

As you may have guessed, green chicken/mutton means meat cooked with coriander or as we Bengalis call it, Dhone pata. This aromatic herb is the hero of the dish alongside the meat. The paste that lends the dish both the colour and the name is made using coriander, green chillies and a host of other ingredients. It tastes great with roti, paratha or rice. Make it a part of your meal and see the satisfied expressions on the face of family and guests. The best part about the recipe is that you can control the level of spiciness and thus can be served to children as well.
