Meat DoPyaza By Manzilat Fatima
Manzilat Fatima is a Foodpreneur, Pop Up Specialist, Royal Family’s Awadhi Cuisine Curator, Winner of Best Home Chef Award FBAI 2018. Apart from being a wonderful cook famed for her biryani and kebabs, is a very loving person and friend who kindly shared her Meat DoPyaza recipe with us — something she cooked for Iftaar during the month of Ramzan.
Manzilat, although a very down to earth and humble person, has a royal lineage too. And if you want to taste her fare, she does offer catering services by the name of Manzilat’s.
Now coming to the Recipe –
Ingredients:
- 1 Kg Mutton/ Beef ( riwaji cubed pcs)
- 1/2 Kg baby onions (peeled, boiled but not fully cooked)
- 50 grams green chilies
- 3 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
- 150 gms Dalda / refined oil
- 150 gms plain curd
- Few green cardamoms

Method:
- In a pressure cooker, put washed and cubed meat pieces.
- Add ginger garlic paste, dalda, curd and cardamoms.
- Cook meat till done.
- Add boiled onions and green chilies.
- Keep on sim for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Serve hot with rumali roti or plain steamed rice.
