Roshun diye panthar mangsho/ Mutton cooked with Garlic
Though the name suggests that it is made with garlic paste only, onion and ginger too is used. However there shall be a strong flavour of garlic. Naturally, you should opt for this recipe only if you prefer garlic in all its glory.
Ingredients –
- Mutton
- Garlic chopped or coarsely crushed
- Onion, ginger, garlic paste
- Turmeric powder
- Salt
- Sugar
- Tomato ketchup (diluted a little and beaten well to form a smooth liquid)
- Garam masala powder
- Cooking Oil
Preparation –
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add chopped garlic according to the amount of the meat and also onion
- Sauté well
- Add salt, turmeric, sugar and tomato ketchup
- Sauté in a low flame
- Now add the ginger paste and some garlic paste
- Sprinkle garam masala powder
- Once cooked well add a little water
You can now pressure cook this too till meat is cooked properly and is ready to be served.
