Ingredients
- Spinach
- Butter
- Onion
- Chicken (or vegetable) stock
- Flour
- Salt
- Pepper
- Cheese
Method
- Boil and blend spinach. Keep aside.
- Heat butter in a pan.
- Add chopped onion and 1 tsp flour.
- Mix well, add the blended spinach.
- Add 2 cups chicken stock, salt and pepper.
- Let it cook for 5 minutes. Take off heat.
- Serve with a topping of grated cheese
Note — If you want to keep it vegetarian, you may use vegetable stock too. Taste will change a little; but would taste as good, and shall be equally nutritious.
