Tomato egg-drop soup
This soup is very easy to make, and gives a warmth and tang which makes it ideal for winter.
Ingredients:
- Tomato (diced into big chunks)
- Egg
- Tomato ketchup
- Onions
- Corn-flour
- Soya sauce
- Pepper powder
- Salt
- Sugar
- Butter
Preparation:
- Fry chopped onions in butter
- Add salt and sugar
- Add tomato chunks
- Add a little tomato ketchup
- Sauté well and take it off the flame
- Blend into puree in a blender
- Heat butter in a pan
- Pour the mixture
- Add a little corn-flour to thicken
- Add a dash of soya sauce and pepper powder
- Bring to a boil and turn the flame off
- Beat the egg with salt and pepper powder
- Pour the egg mixture in the soup with a spoon, a little bit at a time, from an 8/10 inch height and rapidly stir and mix it
