Chicken Lollipops by Silpy Sarker Gupta

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams Chicken – around 9 medium pieces
  • Kashmiri Chilli – 4 nos. big size
  • Ginger – 1 ½ tsp
  • Garlic – 1 ½ tsp
  • Corn starch – 1 Tbsp
  • Maida (flour) – 2 Tbsp
  • Egg – 1 no.
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Sugar – 1 Tbsp
  • Soya sauce – 4 Tbsp
  • Tomato sauce – 3 Tbsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1 ½ tsp
  • Baking soda – ½ tsp
  • White oil
  • Medium size onion – 1 no.

 

Method:

 

 Step 1

Marinate chicken for 1 hour with the following ingredients – ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper, soya sauce, maida, corn starch, baking soda, egg, Kashmiri chilli paste (half the quantity)

 

 

 

Step 2

After an hour, deep fry the marinated chicken and keep aside

 

 

 

 

Step 3

Now let’s make of sauce. Add 2 tbsp of Oil in wok, add ginger garlic paste, onion and fry for few minutes. Then add the remaining Kashmiri Chilli paste and stir for few minutes. Then add tomato sauce, salt, sugar and a little Splash of water and cook it for 2-3 minutes. The sauce is ready, now add the fried lollipops in the sauce and mix well for 2 minutes. Now your yummy chicken lollipops are ready to be served.
