Dhone patar porota/ Coriander Leaves or Cilantro paratha

I love the fresh scent of the cilantro greens. This, along with the aroma of the green chillies, tickle the taste buds. And if you are like me, you shall enjoy the Cilantro parathas with a steaming cup of ginger tea any time of the day or even as a major meal served along with flavoured yogurt accompaniment (raeta). Make sure you select fresh greens for best results.

Ingredients

  • coriander leaves
  • flour
  • oil
  • salt
  • green chilies
  • ginger

Preparation

  • Take a lot of coriander leaves
  • Chop them well (the leaves portion only)
  • Take flour, oil, salt, chopped green chilies, chopped ginger and the chopped coriander leaves together
  • Make a dough of the same
  • Cover it and keep aside for an hour
  • After an hour knead the dough again
  • Make then out in small round shapes and fry to serve
  • Serve with pickle of your choice or even ketchup
