Golaruti

Golaruti is Indian version of pancake. This is generally had in a spicy format and not as sweet as it is had abroad. I make a lot of these Golarutis for breakfast or as evening snacks. This savoury version of pancake recipe was handed down by my mother-in-law. There is a joke that runs in the family, that once she was so obsessed with this recipe that the family was served this for evening snacks day in and day out, and that she dreamt of inviting the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan to taste this concoction. Jokes apart, this recipe is filling and tasty, and is a palate changer for sure.
