Easy Fried Rice

As the name suggests, easy fried rice is really easy to make.  This is a rice which I have often made and had also received rave reviews.

Ingredients –

  • Rice
  • oil
  • Bay Leaves
  • Garam Masala
  • Vegetables – beans, Carrot, Cauliflower,Peas
  • Peanuts (optional)
  • Eggs (optional)
  • Shrimp (optional)
  • salt
  • cilantro sugar
  • jayfol jayitri powder/ Mace Nutmeg powder
  • soya sauce

Preparation –

  • Prepare the rice the way you do.
  • Heat white oil in a pan and temper it with bay leaves and whole garam masala.
  • Add the chopped vegetables. You can add scrambled eggs and shrimp if you want to.
  • You can add peanuts too at this stage.
  • Add salt.cilantro sugar to balance taste, pepper powder, garam masala powder
  • You can add jayfol jayitri powder/ Mace Nutmeg powder
  • Add 1 tbsp of soya sauce
  • Keep stirring the rice and mix well to serve

Variations: You can add shrimps and Eggs before adding vegetables.
