Apple Chutney

PROCESS:

  1. Peel the apple and then cut into pieces
  2. Pressure cook the apple for 1 whistle and keep aside
  3. Then temper star anise and cinnamon in some oil
  4. Add apple, ginger paste, salt, a pinch of turmeric, cumin and fennel powder.
  5. Add soaked raisins (optional) and cook.
  6. When the apple is cooked completely, add sugar or any sweetener you may prefer.
  7. Turn off heat. Sprinkle dry roasted cumin and fennel powder.
  8. Cooldown to room temperature before serving.
