Apple Chutney
PROCESS:
- Peel the apple and then cut into pieces
- Pressure cook the apple for 1 whistle and keep aside
- Then temper star anise and cinnamon in some oil
- Add apple, ginger paste, salt, a pinch of turmeric, cumin and fennel powder.
- Add soaked raisins (optional) and cook.
- When the apple is cooked completely, add sugar or any sweetener you may prefer.
- Turn off heat. Sprinkle dry roasted cumin and fennel powder.
- Cooldown to room temperature before serving.
