Mishti Doi in Oven/ Sweetened Yogurt in Oven
This anytime go-to Bengali dessert recipe was shared by a friend, Sushmita Purkayastha, long time back, and has been an all-time favourite ever since. I am quoting her recipe here.
Ingredients-

1 can condensed milk

16oz of plain yogurt

1 8oz can of evaporated milk
Preparation –

Mix all ingredients gently together by hand so that everything is blended together smoothly but thoroughly. (do not use an electric beater as the yogurt might curdle)Pre-heat oven to 170F and bake for half an hour

Increase the heat to 200F and bake for another 2hrs

Take the doi out of the oven and let it cool. Insert a tooth pick to see if it has set properly. If it comes out clean, then refrigerate overnight before serving.
