Chicken Drumsticks

Chicken Drumsticks are nothing but yummilicious and tasty legs of chicken , marinated and deep fried. These have been considered as some very good starters all over the world. In my house, whenever I am in mood for something a little spicy and to munch on before the main course, I often bank upon them — I generally have a supply of chicken in the freezer. I often serve this for evening snacks and also as an appetizer before entrée is served when entertaining guests.

Ingreadients –

• Chicken legs, without the thigh portion
• Vinegar
• Pepper
• garlic paste
• ginger paste
• soya sauce
• kashmiri laal mirch(for the red colour)
• green chilli paste
• salt

Procedure –

• Clean the chicken.
• Prepare a marination of — vinegar, pepper, garlic paste, ginger paste, soya sauce, kashmiri laal mirch (for the red colour), green chilli paste, and salt (check on this since soya sauce has a lot of salt in it)
• Now marinate for two hours (or more if you have time and inclination, but in that case refridgerate)
• beat together in a bowl an equal proportion of cornflour and flour (maida).
• You can add chopped spring onions to it also if you have them around. The batter will be semi-thick to coat the chicken nicely.
• Now simply heat oil in a pan.
• Coat the marinated chicken in this batter and deep fry these in medium-low heat till done.
• Serve hot with any dip in the side.
