Bacon & Peas
This recipe is basically a side dish. This can be had with herbed rice or could be served with garlic bread and potato mash on the side. And if you are a “porkaholic” , this could be your protein rich breakfast on an indulgent morning too, with a toast or two on the side! Or if you are like me, you shall have it on its own and love it too!
Ingredients:
- 1 Packet uncooked sliced bacon (any variety)
- 1 onion (diced)
- Frozen peas (1 cup)
- Ground pepper
Method:
- Cut the bacons in small pieces
- Heat a pan.
- Now add the bacons in the pan
- Fry them till they turn brown.
- Add the diced onions and fry rill they turn translucent
- Add pepper as per taste
- Add the peas and cook till they are done. Serve hot.
